Kristyna Archer is a multidisciplinary artist who works across film, photography, and design with a passion for creating thought-provoking, visually compelling work through a lens of hyperrealism. She explores the surreal and the absurd, with a proclivity towards irony, infused in her vibrant stylized worlds. Her distinct aesthetic and playful tone breathes life into all types of projects in film, moving image, stop-motion, and photography. Concepting from her keen eye for design and quirky point of view with access to an abundantly curious imagination, there's never a dull moment on set.

Some recent accolades include nominations for Best Fashion Film by London Fashion Film Festival for her fashion short "Musical Chairs: A Battle Royale," nominated for the Next Generation Award by the Berlin Commercial Awards; and selections of her quarantine film "A Beginner's Guide to Quarantine from a Born-Again Optimist" for both Shiny Picks and New Faces, New Voices with official selections by various other film festivals internationally. She has won 5 Telly awards for her Pantene Pro-V "Ban the Bun" #Buntervention spot and her project for 72 & Sunny won a Webby, an ADC award, and was featured in Adweek.

Archer is invested in diversifying production and empowering more underrepresented talent on her sets to push for change. She is also a Green The Bid ambassador passionate about sustainability in production, and is working closely with leaders in the industry to do our part.

Kristyna Archer is an award-winning photographer and director who collaborates with brands that like to have fun with their marketing.

Archer has a passion for telling stories in the most visually compelling way. Her aesthetic integrates stylized design, highlighting offbeat moments in her signature playful tone that runs throughout all her work. She brings a carefree lifestyle element into her stylized concept-based narratives.

She spent her formative years in Detroit with a Pentax K1000 strapped to her side, chronicling her friends’ misadventures, and moved to the windy city where she attended Columbia College Chicago. After spending a decade in Chicago, she now splits time between LA & NYC. Archer is invested in the gender equality conversation and believes she should do everything in her power as a female artist, director, and photographer to empower women through her work and help other women to flourish. Through personal project endeavors of her film The Future Is Female PSA and podcast Mergeleft that focuses on conversations with creative female leaders, she wants to curate meaningful dialogues on gender and enact change.
