I was thrilled to take Capri Sun’s iconic brand into uncharted territory—swapping out its signature sunny energy for something a little more cosmic. The concept of Moon Punch Cosmic Cherry was inherently playful and imaginative, and my job was to bring that magic to life in a way that felt cinematic, tactile, and transportive. We centered the story around a young girl captivated by the moon, using a zolly move to pull the audience into her moment of awe—subtly signaling a shift into another dimension. To keep the magic grounded, I prioritized practical lighting to create a believable moonlit glow, using a glowing orb on set to interact with and later enhance with CGI. The moment she pokes a straw into the glowing “moon,” revealing the Capri Moon pouch, became our hero beat—whimsical and unexpected. This spot embraces that authentic sense of wonder, combining practical craft and post magic—an imaginative departure to launch Capri Moon!
